Save A Life. Register to be a bone marrow donor!

My friend at school has a friend(Michelle) who was diagnosed with Leukemia cancer of the blood. Doctors don't really know how people can get the disease but anyone can get it. Michelle has been fighting for her life and the only cure is a bone marrow transplant from a matching donor. you can save Michelle's life and others as well. How you can help: You can register. Joining the registry is easy. You have to be between the ages of 18 to 60, you have to meet the health guidelines and also you need to be willing to donate to any patient in need. When you come to a drive they'll explain what it is to be a bone marrow donor. Then, you'll need to complete a registration form, you would need personal identification(an id, drivers license, etc.), contact info for two family members or friends so they know how to reach you in the future, then you'd give a swab of cheek cells. What you do with that is they'll give you a cotton swab, you'll need to rub it in your cheeks, put it in a zip loc and your done. That's it! your tissue will then be added to the National Registry. It only takes 10 minutes of your time. To know more visit: www.projectmichelle.com
