Life Lessons...

Inspiring life lessons this one lady wrote. It's good...(:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. So stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now.. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ''In five years, will this matter?".
26. Always choose life.
27. Forgive everyone everything.
28. What other people think of you is none of your business..
29. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
30. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
31. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
32. Believe in miracles.
33. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
34. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
35.. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
36. Your children get only one childhood.
37. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
38. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere..
39. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'dgrab ours back.
40. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
41. The best is yet to come.
42. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
43. Yield.
44. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

Strength/Sistoe

Psalm 27:1- The Lord is my light and my salvaation whom shall i fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall i be afraid?

Isaiah 40:29- He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

Isaiah 41:10- So do not fear, for i am with you, do not be dismayed, for i am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; i will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ephesians 6:10- Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Deuteronomy 31:6- Be stron and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrifed because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Here are some bible verses about strength. I hope some of these few bible verses will help some of you who are going through tough situations, or just need comfort. SISTOE, if you are reading this i will always be here for you. You know that. I know things aren't going so well, but God is always with you and won't let you go through this by yourself. I love you boo. (:

Jesus...

You are the reason to love, to live and to breathe. You alone make the journey possible. May we remember to represent you always, and help us understand how to do that in such a way that will lead others to a saving relationship with you.

May we always remember that our mission in life is not not of perfect self or worldly achievments, but of living and breathing the message of Christ by our words, our actions, and most importantly our life. We need to embrace the privelege of imitating Christ, so that others we have influence over will see something in us that they want desperately to have.

Matthew 5: 16 "In the same way, let your good deed shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."

Lord, help us to always represent you in everything that we do so that others may see you in us.

Happy Sabbath

In Japan it's Saturday, and today my dad and i missed the bus to go see mount fuji. Usually on Saturday we go to church, potluck, sleep, and when it comes to sundown you can do whatever you want. But we're not climing mount fuji it's just sight seeing so it's nature and it's okay for Sabbath. BUT, unfortunately, my yesterday my dad and i stopped at ITT to make sure what time the bus was coming and the lady said it was coming at 6:30. So today, when my dad got at the bus stop at 6:15 my dad opened the envelope ITT gave us about two weeks ago and it said that the bus we were suppose to get on was leaving at 5:00. So we missed it by an hour and fifteen? My dad was so mad so today he's going to ITT to get a refund. &since today is sabbath, i'm just reading devotionals and listening to christian/gospel music. It's just so relieving to the soul. &before i left the house i called my mom and on her way home the other day she was thinking that i'm becoming so independent since i can travel by myself and i'm brave and how i'm becoming more mature and such. She called my brother crying cause she was feeling so empty since my brother and i are gone. She was saying that she's only living for me and my brother, and that we are her life. And that talk with my mom had me thinking that i'm so lucky to have a mom who is as strong, loving, caring, etc as her. My mom is beyond super. She is the bread winner of the family. She is a mom/dad/friend all at the same time and even more. She was really the only one always there for my brother and i. She's hard working. She's the one that pays the bills, pays my school for me to get a good education, pay for my brother to get a great education, pays for the food that goes in my tummy, my clothes, my voice lessons, my ticket and such so i can go to Japan and the Philippines, pays my high phone bill and etc! And sometimes i take all the good things that my mom has done for me for granted. And now that i truly truly realized that i need to help her. I need to step up to the plate and be the one to take care of her, the house, the cleaning etc. I love my mommy. She's my hero. :D well all of you have a happy sabbath/a blessed day.

Good Thing I went

I just got back from the Philippines yesterday and now in Japan. So, before we went to the Philippines my dad and i payed for tickets to go to Tokyo Disney Sea. But last night we got home at around 11 and i didn't get to sleep till around 1. I was so tired, plus we missed the bus going to the house so we had to catch a train which takes longer because it stops at every stop. I told my dad that i didn't want to go to Disney Sea anymore because i already knew i wouldn't want to wake up early the next morning. We payed 150? for the tickets and i told him i'll pay him back just so we don't have to go. But, we ended up going anyway and i tell you, i had so much fun. It was amazing. It was only suppose to be my dad and i but we saw my dads friend with his wife and kids so we hung out with them. Amy and Gabrielle are the cutest and i'm happy that i met them and i had the funest time with them. We took hecka pictures. Also me, my dad, and Gabrielle rode the tower of terror and it was hecka fun. Amy, Gabrielle's sister didn't go cause she's not much of a roller coast rider person or whatever. It sad because Gabrielle was excited to go on and by the way Gabrielle is 8 and her sister Amy is 10 anyway and when we was already seated she had tears so i held her knees because she was covering her ears. In the end she just had to catch her breath but she said it was lots of fun. Tokyo Disney is such a wonder. The surroundings and everything were amazing. There was under the sea and it was decorated that way and it felt like you were actually under the sea. And there was an area where it felt like you are in Venice, and there was an Aztec temple, it was just great. And i swear the water shows were the besssst especially the last one at night before we left. It was a water show, there was fire, fire works, a volcano erupting, there were like robot type things, just amazing. I had the funnest time. It was a good thing that i ended up going or else i didn't get to meet uncle Ed, auntie Vivienne, and my two favorite girls Amy and Gabrielle.
